OPEN LEARNING CALLS
AuDHD + PDA Q&A Live Call
Real questions.
Thoughtful conversation.
A new way forward.
Bring the questions, tensions, and situations you're navigating with your student. Through open conversation, we'll look at what's happening through a different lens and explore new directions for moving forward.
When What You're Navigating Isn't Making Sense
Maybe you're trying to understand why something that seemed straightforward has become so difficult. Maybe you've already tried different approaches and still feel unsure what your student needs. Or maybe you understand PDA or AuDHD, but you're struggling to apply what you know to what's happening right now.
A situation at home or school keeps creating tension or overwhelm.
You're trying to understand what may be underneath your student's response.
There's something you're noticing or wondering about and you'd like another perspective.
You want another way to think about a situation you've been struggling to navigate.
The goal isn't to hand you a quick fix. It's to help you really understand the situation so you have new places to go and different approaches to explore.

More Than Your Own Question
One of the most valuable parts of an open learning call can be hearing someone bring up something you hadn't thought to ask, or describe a situation that helps you see your own differently.
You'll hear from other families navigating situations that may feel familiar, different, or give you a glimpse into what you may encounter down the road. Your own question may be answered directly, or another conversation may give you an entirely new way to think about what you're experiencing.
Participate however feels right. Join the conversation, connect in the chat, or simply listen.
FAQ
-
Open Learning Calls are for parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals supporting PDA and neurodivergent students.
Whether you're newer to this work or have been navigating it for years, you're welcome to bring what's coming up for you right now.
-
Each call may have a loose theme based on what's especially relevant at that time, but your questions don't need to fit the theme. You're welcome to bring the situations, tensions, or questions that are coming up for you at home, at school, or in everyday life.
These calls are designed around real situations rather than a set presentation, so the conversation will take shape around what participants bring to the call.
-
Zach will answer as many questions as time allows, but because each call is shaped by the people who attend, we can't guarantee that every individual question will be addressed.
Even when your specific question isn't answered, you may hear another family bring up something that connects closely to what you're navigating or gives you a new way to think about your own situation.
-
Yes. In the reminder emails leading up to the call, you'll have the option to submit a question or share a little context about something you're navigating for Zach to consider ahead of time.
Prefer to wait? That's completely fine. You can also bring questions to the live call and share them in the chat.
-
Not at all. You're welcome to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable to you. You might ask a question, connect with others in the chat, or simply listen.
The chat often becomes a place where families naturally connect around shared experiences, but there's no expectation that you participate there. You can engage as much or as little as works for you.
-
That’s okay. Every registration includes 30 days of replay access, and you’re welcome to register even if you already know you won’t be able to join live.
There’s a lot of value in simply listening to the questions and situations other families bring to the conversation. You may hear someone describe an experience that feels familiar, discover a perspective you hadn’t considered, or take away an approach that applies to something you’re navigating in your own family.
For some people, watching the replay on their own time may even be the more comfortable way to engage. You’ll have 30 days after the call to watch, listen, and revisit the conversation.
Bring What's Happening in Your World.
